Juvelook

Helps skin form collagen and maintain hydration

What is Juvelook?

Juvelook is an injectable treatment that helps skin look healthier, smoother, and more supple by stimulating collagen formation. Juvelook® contains two main ingredients, PDLLA (Poly-D,L-Lactic Acid) and Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA helps maintain skin hydration, while PDLLA helps stimulate the skin to form new collagen.

What skin concerns can it help with?

Juvelook helps improve skin that is starting to feel rough or less smooth, has fine lines, feels less supple, or makes the face look more tired as we age. In certain conditions, Juvelook can also be used to help improve the look of the under-eye area.

How does it work?

After it is injected into the skin, HA helps the skin get and keep hydration. Meanwhile, PDLLA stimulates the skin to form new collagen. Because collagen does not form in one day, changes in the skin also appear gradually.

Who is Juvelook for?

Juvelook can make skin look smoother, more supple, and well cared for, and helps soften fine lines. The doctor will decide the areas that need to be treated and the treatment method that suits the patient’s skin condition.

How long is the treatment and what will you feel afterward?

The treatment usually takes about 45–60 minutes, depending on the area treated. After the treatment, your skin can have redness, slight swelling, feel more sensitive or sore when touched, and small bruises can appear at the injection area. These complaints are only temporary and gradually improve.

How many treatments are needed?

The number of treatments is not the same for everyone because skin condition and care goals differ. Juvelook is used in 2–3 sessions about 4 weeks apart. However, the doctor will decide the number and spacing of treatments that suit you best after examining your skin condition.

When do results start to show?

  • Days 0–3: Your skin is still in recovery. Redness, slight swelling, sensitivity, or small bruises can appear at the injection area.
  • Days 4–7: Your skin condition starts to calm down. The feeling of hydration in the skin can start to feel better.
  • Week 2: Skin can start to look fresher, smoother, and well cared for.
  • Weeks 3–4: Changes in skin texture and suppleness start to look clearer.
  • Months 2–3: Collagen formation keeps going so skin quality keeps improving

So, Juvelook results do not show right away in one day. Skin hydration can be felt earlier, while changes related to collagen formation take a few weeks to a few months. Results can differ for each person depending on skin condition and each person’s body response.

Can Juvelook be combined with other treatments?

Juvelook can be combined with other treatments for maximum results, namely:

Juvelook® + Skin condition Goal of the combination
Juvelook® + Skin Booster Dry, dull, and less fresh skin Helps skin feel more hydrated, look fresher, and helps improve skin condition.
Juvelook® + Laser/Sylfirm/ Microneedle Rough skin, large pores, uneven skin color, and uneven texture Helps improve texture, color, and the look of the skin surface while also helping collagen formation
Juvelook® + Botox Visible fine lines and wrinkles Juvelook helps improve skin condition, while botox can help reduce wrinkles that come from muscle movement
Juvelook® + Threadlift/ HIFU/Hollywood Face Sculpting/ RF Skin is starting to sag and the face looks less firm Helps increase skin firmness and collagen formation

The doctor will decide which treatment is done first and how long the gap between treatments should be, considering skin condition, the area treated, and patient safety.

What should you do after the treatment?

After the treatment, avoid pressing or massaging the treated area unless the doctor directs otherwise. Use sunscreen regularly and avoid excessive heat early after the treatment. Follow all care instructions from the doctor for the area treated.

Does Juvelook need a doctor consultation?

Every skin has different conditions and needs. A GLOSKIN doctor will examine your skin condition, the areas you want to improve, and your care goals. From that examination, the doctor will decide whether Juvelook is the suitable treatment, which areas need to be treated, and how many treatments you may need.
