Nucleofil
What is this treatment?
Nucleofill is an injectable treatment to help improve skin condition from within. The aim is not to change face shape, but to make skin feel more hydrated, supple, and look healthier.
What concerns can it address?
- Dull skin that lacks moisture
- Fine lines
- Reduced skin suppleness
- Skin that is starting to sag
- Uneven skin texture
- Signs of aging from sun exposure
- Sunken acne scars.
How does it work?
Nucleofill helps skin cells work more actively in forming collagen and elastin, the substances that keep skin strong and flexible. Its ingredients also help skin hold water and protect the skin from damage.
Results appear slowly. Your skin can feel more hydrated, supple, and look fresher.
Who is it for?
- Have dry, dull, or less elastic skin
- Are starting to have fine lines and signs of aging
- Want to prevent skin aging early
- Want skin rejuvenation with natural-looking results
- Do not yet need surgery to tighten the skin
How long is the procedure and recovery?
- The procedure takes about 30–60 minutes, including the use of numbing cream.
- After the procedure, redness, mild swelling, bruising, or small bumps can appear at the injection points.
- These complaints generally ease within 1–3 days.
How many times is it needed?
At the start of treatment, 2–4 procedures are usually needed, 2–4 weeks apart. The number can differ, depending on skin condition and the doctor’s examination.
When do results start to show?
Skin usually starts to feel more hydrated and fresh within a few days. Skin texture and suppleness improve gradually, usually starting to show within 4–6 weeks.
Does it need to be combined with other treatments?
Nucleofill can be combined with:
- Botox for expression wrinkles
- Gloskin Face Contour to correct parts of the face that are starting to look hollow
- Laser for skin tone
- Microneedling for acne scars
Radiofrequency to help tighten the skin
Not every patient needs a combination. The doctor will decide according to your concerns and skin condition.
What to know before and after the treatment. Before the treatment:
- Tell us about the medications and supplements you take.
- Do not stop blood thinners without the approval of the doctor who prescribed them.
- Avoid alcohol before the procedure as the doctor advises.
The procedure should be postponed if there is infection or active inflammation.
After the treatment:
- Do not press or massage the injection area.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and excessive heat for 48 hours.
- Use a moisturizer and sunscreen regularly.
- Avoid retinol, AHA, BHA, and strong active ingredients for 2–3 days.
Consult a GLOSKIN doctor
The doctor will assess:
- The level of skin hydration and suppleness
- Areas that are starting to sag
- The depth of fine lines
- Skin condition and thickness
- The areas and injection points
- The number of sessions needed
Possible combinations with RF, laser, Botox, or filler
Nucleofill does not work like a filler that corrects face shape and does not replace Botox for wrinkles caused by facial movement. That is why a doctor’s examination is important so patients do not choose the wrong treatment.
