Croma

Skin that is more hydrated, smooth, supple, and looks fresh

What is Croma Rich?

Croma Rich is a skin quality booster treatment done by injecting Hyaluronic Acid (HA) into the skin to help maintain hydration and improve skin condition. Hyaluronic Acid is a substance that is naturally found in the body and can bind water. With hydration maintained, skin can feel softer, smoother, more supple, and look fresher.

What skin concerns can it help with?

Croma Rich can help improve several skin conditions, especially those related to hydration and smoothness.

  • Dry skin that feels stiff, tight, or rough.
  • Dull skin.
  • Skin texture that is less smooth.
  • Fine lines.
  • Skin that is less supple.
  • Skin that looks tired.

This treatment does not specifically remove dark spots, deep acne marks, or wrinkles that are already quite deep.

How does Croma Rich work?

Croma Rich contains Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a substance that can draw and bind water in the skin.

How it works, simply:

The doctor injects Croma Rich into the skin areas that need care. The HA in Croma Rich helps bind water so the skin has better hydration. Maintained hydration helps reduce roughness and dryness, making skin look more supple, soft, and radiant.

How long is the procedure and is there recovery time?

The Croma Rich procedure is relatively short, depending on the size of the area treated and the technique the doctor uses, usually about 45 – 60 minutes. During the injections, patients may feel a pinching, small pricking, or slightly stinging sensation. In the 1-3 days after the procedure, some reactions that may appear include redness, mild swelling, bruising, small bumps, or some discomfort. However, these reactions are only temporary and not every patient will have them.

How many treatments are needed?

Generally, Croma Rich is done as 3 initial treatments, with about 2–4 weeks between treatments, depending on skin condition and the doctor’s evaluation. After the initial series is complete, the doctor may recommend follow-up or maintenance treatment to help keep the results. However, the number of treatments can differ for each person. Some patients need fewer or more sessions, depending on skin condition, the area treated, and the result you want to achieve.

When do results start to show and how long do they last?

  • 0–3 days: Your skin may have redness, slight swelling, bruising, or small bumps at the injection area. This usually improves gradually.
  • Day 7: Skin starts to feel more hydrated and looks fresher.
  • Week 2: Results start to show. Skin feels smoother, more hydrated, and more supple.
  • Weeks 3–4: Results can look more optimal, especially if the care is done as the doctor advises with the right skincare.
  • Results can last about 3–6 months, depending on skin condition, lifestyle, the skincare used, and each person’s body response.

Can Croma Rich be combined with other treatments?

Croma Rich can be part of a skin care series combined with other procedures if they suit the patient’s needs, including:

  • Laser: treats uneven skin tone, spots, or acne marks.
  • Face contour with HA: improves facial contour in areas that need it.
  • Botox: treats wrinkles.
  • Threadlift: treats facial skin that looks sagging

Not all treatments need to be done together. The doctor will decide the type of procedure, the order, and the time between treatments to suit your skin condition and reduce the risk of side effects.

What to know before and after the treatment?

Before the treatment:

  • Tell the doctor if you have allergies, are taking medication, have a medical history, or have had a reaction after an injection procedure.
  • Tell us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a skin infection, or have inflammation in the area to be treated.
  • Make sure your skin is in a suitable condition for the procedure.
  • Follow the doctor’s guidance on preparation before the treatment.

After the treatment:

  • Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the injection area without the doctor’s guidance.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise and activities that cause excessive heat for a while, as the doctor instructs.
  • Avoid saunas and excessive heat during the early recovery period.
  • Use sunscreen regularly to protect your skin from sun exposure.
  • Use gentle skincare and avoid products that can irritate your skin until the doctor allows.
  • Follow all aftercare instructions given by the doctor.

If an unusual complaint appears or gets worse, see a doctor right away.

Consult a GLOSKIN Doctor

Everyone has different skin conditions and needs. Skin that looks dull does not necessarily have the same cause as skin that is dry or less supple. A GLOSKIN doctor will help examine your skin condition, understand the concern you want to improve, and decide whether Croma Rich is a suitable choice.
