Glowing Salmon DNA
What is this treatment?
Glowing Salmon DNA PDRN is a treatment to help dull, dry, and rough-textured skin. Its ingredients can be applied with microneedling, a device with very fine needles, depending on your skin condition.
What concerns can it address?
- Dull skin
- Uneven skin tone
- Dry skin or skin that lacks moisture
- Rough skin texture
- Pores that look large
- Fine lines
- Mild acne scars
- Signs of skin damage from sun exposure
How does it work?
PDRN helps the skin’s natural recovery process. When used together with microneedling, very fine needles make very tiny points on the skin surface. This helps the PDRN serum ingredients enter the skin while also stimulating collagen formation.
Who is it for?
- Have dull skin that looks tired
- Skin feels dry even though you use skincare
- Have rough, uneven skin texture
- Are starting to have fine lines
- Want skin that looks more hydrated, fresh, and radiant
How long is the procedure and recovery?
- The procedure takes about 30–60 minutes, including the use of numbing cream.
- Mild redness can appear after the procedure.
- Recovery generally takes about 1–3 days, depending on skin condition and the application method.
How many times is it needed?
At the start of treatment, 3–5 procedures are usually needed, 2–4 weeks apart. The number is adjusted to skin condition and response after the procedure.
When do results start to show?
Skin usually starts to feel more hydrated and fresh within a week. Skin texture and look will improve slowly after several treatments.
Does it need to be combined with other treatments?
Glowing Salmon DNA PDRN can be combined with:
- Laser for spots and uneven skin tone
- Skin booster for additional hydration
- Chemical peeling to lift dead skin cells
Microneedling RF for texture and acne scars
Combined treatments are not always done on the same day. The doctor needs to set the order and spacing so they stay safe for your skin.
What to know before and after the treatment. Before the treatment:
- Temporarily stop retinol, AHA, and BHA as the doctor advises.
- Tell us if you have a fish or seafood allergy.
- Make sure your skin has no infection, open wounds, or severely inflamed acne.
Tell us about the medications and supplements you are using.
After the treatment:
- Avoid washing your face with hot water for 24 hours.
- Do not rub or massage your skin too much.
- Use a gentle moisturizer and sunscreen.
- Avoid direct sun exposure.
- Avoid heavy makeup for at least 24 hours.
- Put off active skincare for a few days.
Consult a GLOSKIN doctor
The doctor will assess:
- The level of skin hydration and brightness
- The condition of pores and skin texture
- Spots, uneven skin tone, or dark marks
- Any active acne or infection
- Skin thickness and sensitivity
- Whether microneedling is suitable
- The needle depth and safe way to use it
Need for combinations with peels, laser, or skin booster
Microneedling cannot be done straight away on every skin condition. If your skin is inflamed, infected, or its protective layer is badly damaged, the doctor may recommend letting your skin recover first.
